When we last heard from Rory Sabbatini, he was leaving the Bridgestone Invitational last week an unhappy man after being overwhelmed by Tiger Woods in the final round after speaking so confidently about challenging Woods' supremacy. "I am who I am, and people either are going to appreciate it or they're not," Sabbatini said yesterday. "I've never made any critical remarks toward Tiger. If anything, I've spoken in admiration of him, because when he's on top of his game there's no one who can compete with him. The South African native started this firestorm when he said after the final round at Wachovia in May that Woods was "beatable." "There's no conflict between me and Tiger, that's what's so funny. Everyone perceives there's this huge conflict between him and I, and we have this battle going on. But there's no such thing going on. I guess it makes for good media and good circumstances on the golf course."
