    My wife wants to get into golf and I'm wondering if she will enjoy it more if she takes instruction from a woman pro. What's your thoughts? I've asked her and she said that she doesn't care.

    Whatever she feels comfortable with, I mean if it was me I would think that I Would want to learn from someone of my caliber, wether it be male or female. I think you aren't too keen on the idea of her having a male instructor,lol!

    Haha, that's right mate :P that's what i'm thinking too. On the serious note, I think she should go with whatever golf instructor she feels the most comfortable with. But as far as golf instruction goes, male or female both should be equally as qualified.

    I agree. Male or female shouldn't make a difference, unless it's you that has the problem with a male pro.

    I don't think that I would be very comfortable with a male instructor. I really think that I need a female. The opposite sex always brings nervous feelings for me. Even though I have been married for ever and ever, it seems like the opposite sex ALWAYS makes me nervous.

    If the lady has the problem with a male instructor then fine. Like Illusseesion, I have to wonder if the gentleman had a problem with his wife learning from a man. I have seen enough movies and TV shows that had randy golf pros

    Maybe, but I think that is really a myth. Most of these guys are there to teach people how to play golf.

    That's true. They get painted as these horny guys who bored housewives always have affairs with. Tennis pros have the same rep.

    I guess so, either way I think that women should learn from women. We are made up very differently than men are so it only makes sense.

    It's like I said a while ago. to me the gender of the instructor doesn't matter a whit to me. Howe ever others may feel differently.

    I know that women have a different set of clubs then men do. You would have to take certain um, appendages into consideration.

    I'm an instructor and my wife worries that hot women will want lessons and I'll stray from being faithful to her. I try to convince her otherwise but she just doesn't get it! I'm giving golf lessons to help people improve and not to have sex with anyone! If a woman was to come on to me during a lesson, I would set the record straight and continue to teach her if she was serious about golf.
