Turns out at least one player at Carnoustie was taking a steroid. "I suspect in the next year, I'll be getting more and more questions about it," former PGA champion Shaun Micheel said. Micheel was diagnosed two years ago with low testosterone, and he has been taking a synthetic steroid (Testim 1 percent), and says he could be on the drug for a while. He said doctors told him his testosterone level should be between 700 and 800 for someone his age (38), and his is around 480. It was 260 when he was diagnosed in April 2005. He catches some flak from players, but only because of how he takes the drug. It's a clear gel he rubs into his shoulder. "That's where I get harassed the most," he said. "They say I'm using the clear. I do laugh about it. But I don't want to take this stuff. I don't like taking stuff for a cold."

If he has a legitimate medical reason for it, then I say leave him alone.

That is such a cheat. So now players are going to find a way to take steroids legally. I mean come on now, with enough money you can pay a doctor to make it legal. This is crazy but at the same time it isn't because people take steroids.. so?

Yeah and but what about those who don't need to take it but cna pay off a doctor to write a prescription for it? Just like that wrestler guy. They din't know he was getting it through a doctor did they. Not until he was dead.

That is true, there will be an everlasting cycle when it comes to steroids. They will get taken some way or another.

yeah, There's always gonna be someone trying to work the system, and have an edge over others. It all comes down to who gets caught.

And if you pay enough, you can avoid being caught!
