Golf is supposed to be a relaxed day spent with friends enjoying the game. That concept was pretty well shot by our experience at Meadowbrook. Coming from cities an hour away we met early to hit the range. According to their web site, there is a range. Nope, haven't had one for 6 months or so. Also with descriptions listed on other golf sites, they don't allow fivesomes. Except on the day we go....and we get behind them! A 5 1/2 hour round that became the most frustrating of days. Us, the group behind us and the group behind them kept meeting and getting to listen to the fivesome in front yelling about who was ahead, what the bet was and all this taking place in slow motion. You'd think they would offer to allow lesser groups to play through............wrong. In this economy where everyone is trying to get the most for their dollar, there are too many places to go play to put up with this. Are you listening golf course mananger?
