Planning to travel to NC from Nova Scotia end of March 2009 and hope to play a round or two at a couple of first class golf courses that will not break the bank. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated.
I live in Pinehurst, NC and the obvious #1 choice is Pinehurst #2 however this will break the bank so let me give you some suggestions on some great courses that are reasonable. Little River Golf Club, The Legacy, Pinehurst #4, The Carolina, Tobacco Road (wild ride), The National, and Mid South CC
The Champions Course at Bryan Park, Greensboro, NC. About a 20-30 minute drive from the Piedmont Triad Int'l. Airport. GREAT value ($56 on weekends/holidays). Home of the 2010 U.S. Amatuer Open.
