I’m not an expert in this area, I use reg and swing at 105mph. But I’m missing a few right and then hooking the next one, I have had a few lessons and every part of my game has mproved except driving accuracy. I’m not a super long bomber either so I should be more accurate. I have been told by a few that reg will give more diatnce and stiff will give more control and hence accuracy, I have hit about a ten drives with a driver similar to mine with a stiff in it and I think they all went straight bar one. But conversly I have been told you will lose everything right if I go to a stiff shaft, So I suppoose I just need a general rule of thumb if you like.

There is no standard in golf shafts when it comes to shaft flex (shaft companys love to over hype what shafts can and can’t do.) One of the reasons you might be having problems is your driver is about 1-1.5” to long, I don’t think any one should be trying to hit a driver any longer than 44’ unless they can hit it out of the center every time. The longer the club is and the lower the loft the harder it’s going to be to hit. This left and right thing is over hyped. Go by feel

At your swing speed I would recommend a stiff flex. You will probably find it easier to control. But try out different stiff shafts from diff manu's because they will all be slightly different.

Hey man....listen at a swing speed of 105 you are in the stiff flex catagory. by swinging at that speed, you will be hitting the ball more accuratly because the regular flex is too wippy and hard to control. You are also going to probably hit it farther than the regular flex because you will be hitting more shots center contact. You wont have a problem hitting the ball lower or anything that that. The only time that comes into play is when somoene who swings 85 trys to hit a stiff flex.

Now is it more or less about the bend of the knee? Because I was told that you can get a better swing when it comes to bending your knees correctly.
