River Ridge Golf Club is an upscale public golf course in Raleigh, North Carolina with 200 members. Considered one of the best public golf courses in Raleigh; the 18-hole par 72 championship course that is noted for its dependable, superior course conditions. Designed by golf architect Chuck Smith. The course is comprised of 180 acres that are nestled along Neuse River, and are set amongst lush green meadows and freshwater ponds under a canopy of tall oaks, pines and maple trees which makes for a picturesque view. I have played River Ridge on several occasions, and the course is always in great shape. This is not an easy course but the risk/reward on this course is fair. You should be punished if you hit a poor shot. The price of a round is $65.00 and they do have a Starter as well as a Marshal. You will need to make a tee time for this course because it does get crowded. I would this course 5 star.
