Tom Jackson set a example for many architects to follow with his 18 hole, 6970 yard, par 72 golf course. Located on one of the highest elevations in the region the tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers and generous greens, and, spark- ling blue water makes this a favorite with locals as well as the numerous golf visitors. Hyland Hills Resort offers a very enjoyable game of golf in Pinehurst.
Played this course on April 11th. The fairways are thin, hopefully they will fill in more. I also thought the greens were not consistant - some slow, some fast.
