Carolina Lakes Golf Club offers a fun and fair test of golf in the Sandhills region of North Carolina. the Course opened in 1981 and was designed by Mr. Roger Rulewich and Mr. Jim Hickey featuring rolling fairways and splendid greens. Carolina Lakes places a great amount of emphasis on shot placement and the approach shot to the usually fast and undulating greens. Golfers will find themselves playing some of their fastest rounds of golf. Carolina Lakes Golf Club Considered by many golfers as the most enjoyable course in the Sandhills - Pinehurst area.
Regarded as a grat course for the money. Extremely reasonable greens fees, but lacking some of the clibhouse ammeninties. They have a snack bar, but don't expect lunch. Somewhat misleading in the name, though, as water does not really come into play anywhere on the course.
Depending on pin placement, #2 can be one of the tougher holes in the area.
