1 to 1 of 1
The first step used to figure your Handicap is to take the scores from your most recent last five rounds (These rounds should be 18 holes each).
The Second Step: Using your scorecard, or the official USGA website. Look up the course slope and rating that you played for each of the rounds.
The Third Step: Subtract the course rating from the score you made on that course.
The Fourth Step: Multiply the number you get by 113.
The Fifth Step: Divide that number by the slope of the course. This number is the differential.
The Last Step: Take the lowest of your five differentials and multiply it by 0.96, and you will have calculated your Golf handicap.
