The wildfires in southern California have forced the evacuation of an estimated 500,000 people, including Phil Mickelson and his family, according to golfworld.com. "We're safe, the family is together," Mickelson told Tim Rosaforte of Golf World on Tuesday afternoon. Mickelson's wife, Amy, and their three children left their Rancho Santa Fe home on Monday while Mickelson was playing in a corporate outing at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J. Mickelson flew home immediately afterward to join his family.
