    Has anyone here every taken out a golf travel insurance policy? Was the policy ultimately worth it?

    I never get any insurance for golfing. I probably would though if I was travelling far. Things can happen on the course like accidents.

    I never thought about get any either. I've heard stories where people getting struck by lightning just because they couldn't make it back to the clubhouse safely. One indivdual actually died by lightning here at this local golf course.
