For christmas one year I got my favorite club cover. My mom knit me this golf sock! It had a golf ball knitted right into the side of it.(yes, the ball could look like any ball, but I knew what it was).

You some some crazy ones out there. Like Tiger woods has a Tiger. (how appropriate)

I usually just have college team mascots as my head covers, well only my driver head cover because they're heavy. I just have generic ones for my other woods.

I have a golden gopher, SJSU spartan head, and a Arkansas Razorback

Nice! I really think the covers make a statement about a person.

Is it good to cover your golf clubs? and what is the reason people do it. I never ever cover my clubs, which is a bad habit in a way but at the same time, I see no reason to do it.

Golf covers keep your clubs nice and clean. I mean it's just like you having a car cover for a classic car you have. You want to protect it from the harsh world. Same thing when it comes to your clubs, you want to protect them from mainly niches because when it comes to having niches on your clubs, that can affect your gaming.

That is true having niches on your golf club could impact the way you hit your golf balls which wouldn't be good at all. Plus they keep them clean.

My golf bag has a cover on it so I never really thought about having club covers or anything liek that. It's not like I'm throwing my clubs around or anything so I have no reason to worry about them getting scratched.

Isn't there a possibility that they would get scratched inside of the golf bags, with no covers?

IF they don't have any covers on the tip of them then yes that is possible. Because they would rub against eachother.
