After posting about the golf terms, I then found this. It talks about all of golf etiquette. As a player it's good to know. When I worked at a golf course, all the members I swear knew every little piece of this. Want to brush up? Take a look.

Interesting link- you would think most on the list would be common sense when golfing- but you never know :)

I wouldn't learn anything golf terms unless had a reason to. I know the basics but to learn anything extra would be taking up more of my time than needed. I wouldn't take the time to learn it unless I was getting a job dealing with golf.

Why not? I think learning what you are playing inside and out is a good thing. That means that you are taking the game seriously. It's like playing basketball and not knowing what double dribble is. Why play if you don't know the aspects of the game.

That is true. Why wouldn't you learn the ins and outs of the game? Makes no sense to me either.

Played with a man last week that was surprised and happy that I had learned a little golf etiquette, said it was unusual for a new player. Got to remember that it's a gentlemans game. Since all I usually wear is T-shirts I had to buy collared shirts.
