I'm in Wilkes County now and Florida in winter. Have just started, 3 rounds. Played twice at Rock Creek, very nice and only $12 weekdays and $15 weekends. Hilly course, price includes cart.

Membership fees vary. If you're talking about class A golf courses that could run to thousands of $$$ annually. But there are friendlier rates like the one near my place charges only a little over a thousand a year.

That's pretty cool. So it's about all you need---$12, $15 fee.

That isnt bad at all, you could actually pay off a couple of months at that price.
