Practicing like the pros

When going to the golf range for your pre-round warm-up or for just a practice session. Be sure to practice with a purpose. Otherwise just hitting the ball as far as possible won't do you any good. This to do: always set up a club for alignment. The golf club should be placed parallel left of your target for proper body alignment. Start off with small shots, 50 to 70 yards out. Then move to your pitching wedge, 8 iron, 6, 4, fairway wood, then lastly your driver. When finished hit four or five wedge shots for tempo. Practice your chipping and putting greens, And if you get a good feel for the green speeds this will help you lower your scores.

You know some people actually go just to hit the ball as far as they can. I use to go just to let off steam. For some it is a recreational situation, which leads to them golfing for no purpose
