Golf Tip : Gripping the club at waist height

You don't play golf with just a single hand, this sport is a two-handed game. So try using both of your hands to set the grip for a shot. For right handed golfers, the easiest way to do this, is to hold the club at your waist level with your right hand as you take grip with your left hand. Try gripping the shaft at mid-point with your right hand and position the end of the grip in your left hand so the back of the left hand is square with the leading edge of the club face. With the left hand in place, the right hand should fit naturally into the position of the grip. It's better to practice gripping the golf club at waist level, and a good idea to make this apart of your setup routine.
