Golf Ball Position

There isn't necessarily a perfect golf ball position that works for every golfer, because of difference in height, flexibility etc of golfers. But there is a general rule of thumb to go by for ball position. For your Golf Drivers, Woods, 2 and 3 Irons, play the golf ball just inside of your left heel, if right handed, opposite for left. With your 4,5,6,7 and 8 Irons you should play the ball halfway between your inside left heel and the center of your stance. And for 9 iron and wedges play the ball in the middle of your stance. This is just a general guide for golf ball position, to find what works best for you. Get out on the driving range and practice a bit, place the ball at the beginning of your divot and keep doing this until you've found your proper ball position for every golf club. This will help you to hit more shots off the sweet spot of your club for more accuracy and consistency towards your target.
