It only makes sense that you would drink lots of water before and during game play, but I wonder how you deal with bathroom breaks if you have to stop in the middle of a game?
Yep, not really a big deal for me because when I have to go thats exactly what I do. I don't worry. I stop and begin where I left off at. Just that simple.
I think that kind of messes up the mood too sometimes. You are in the middle of teaching or showing someone something. Or just talking crap with your friends. You're all of a sudden having a sudden urge to pee. Not good.
My friends use to hate when I stopped in the middle of a game to go use the bathroom. So it could be a huge inconvience when it comes to the players you are playing with.
Bottomline, go get a pee before you tee. It is common sense. Relieve yourself before any game. When you're there sweating and concentrating on the game, you will forget about other things and focus more on the game.
They say in hot weather to take a sip of water each hole. Try to time it where when you make the turn you go potty. Some times it's hard to regular your water in take. But please refrain from peeing in the bushes on the course. Its just not good etiquette.
IT is hard because regardless, you have to stay hydrated while playing. So you are going to end up having to go to the bathroom sometime during the game. It's something that is not avoidable.
