A High-Tech Way to Improve Your Golf Swing

It's common knowledge that every golfer knows the most important thing in golf is mastering the golf swing. There are some great high-tech golf devices out there to add to your golf gear to help and improve your golf swing. One is called the Electronic Golf Swing Improver. It's made by Brookstone and sells for about $150. This gadget promises to correct hooks and slices, and you don't have to be on the driving range to use it either. You can practice with it in your own backyard. It comes with a thick, driving range-style nylon turf mat to protect your clubs, and electronic device with a large LCD display for animated ball flight to show you how far the ball is going and how well you're hitting it. Use any club, from a driver to a 9-iron. It will give you the club head readings in MPH or KPH and can be used by both right-handed and left-handed golfers.

I wonder if this little item is cheaper than hiring a pro to instruct you. Anyone know what instruction costs per hour?

Golf lessons all have different rates an hour depending on the instructor. Maybe an average is 35-45 an hour, just a guess though.
