Setting up for the Golf Putt

If you seem to be having trouble when on the green, then you must make sure your putt setup is right. There can be many factors that cause inconsistent golf putting, but a common problem that often occurs is golf ball placement. The ball should be directly under your eyes. If you were to stand too far out from the ball and your eyes are on the inside of the line of the putt, you will most likely end up pushing a lot of putts. If you stand too close, then it's just the opposite you'll probably pull a lot of your putts.

You can practice the right setup, by dangling the putter from the top of your nose. If it's pointing directly to the ball, then you're lined up perfectly. Practice this enough times and it'll become natural too you, and you want have to dangle the putter anymore.
