Tiger Woods was so disgusted with his form at last month's Open Championship that he decided to tweak his swing, and the results were immediately apparent as he blew away the field to win the World Golf Championships, before capturing the PGA title last week. To suggest his coach, Hank Haney, is on the way out any time soon would be an exaggeration, but Woods increasingly is working on his own. Haney was not at the PGA and is not expected to be a regular presence at tournaments Woods plays in for the foreseeable future.

Tiger would likely be the best judge of whether Haney is doing damage to his swing or not. Why does everyone need to second guess him?

This is a great point, but in the life of a super star, everyone has there own opinions of what he should or should not be doing.

And that is exactly what it is, great point. If the man wants to work on his golf swing alone then let him work on his golf swing alone. I don't see anything wrong with it at all.

I have fears that this is not going to be good to his career. Any professional athlete still needs a coach to maintain or if possible improve his game.No golf pro is ever exempt from correction.Oh well, that would probably mean big savings for Tiger. But his complete termination of Haney's services will, I am sure, greatly affect his performance in the negative way. I just hope I am wrong.

My mind is, if he doesn't want Haney to coach him, then he should get another one immediately if he wants to grab the gold.

Has that man ever needed anyone else help when it came to his golf swing. I figure you can only get so much help when it comes to something that you are good at.
