On his way to winning the PGA Championship at steamy Southern Hills, Tiger Woods suggested that being in better shape gives him an advantage. John Daly isn't buying it. "Fat boys like me can get through the heat. Every time I worked out I threw up and I thought to myself that you can get drunk and throw up, so it's just not for me," Daly said. "I'm flexible enough, there are probably some things I could do to keep my flexibility up, but I'd rather smoke, drink diet Cokes and eat. I get enough exercise walking five or six miles a day."

LOL! I love John Daly! He is such a riot. I bet he'd be a blast to hang out with. I guess he gives everyone hope that they will some day be a good golfer. LOL

That's what golf gives you anyway---a lot of walking , maybe many miles a day sometimes under the heat of the sun.

REal golfers are usually lean. With the constant stretching and lots of walking there's no way that you don't trim down. I lost 20 lbs. when I started to play golf. The heat of the sun just melt off some of the lard in your body.

Daly is so out of shape, of course he would say this about Tiger. If it wasn't for Daly being a joker, then I would take this as an insult to Tiger.... But Daly is likely in the worst shape in all of the pros.

I mean you have to give it to the man, he throws humor in there. There has to always be that one person who always has something negative to say just because they have nothing else to do.

John Daly is probubly right, that's why he is in Europe instead of Atlanta. Poor Tiger.

Lol, poor tiger. I hope you don't think that he is even worried about him at all because he isn't

Would you worry? He has no reason to really worry about anyone other than himself. He has too much money to worry about anything anyone else is doing.

Lol funny gilipsie, I would be thinking the same thing. While we are worried about John dismissing Tiger, Tiger is still doing whatever it is that he does best.
