I'm having troubles gaining confidence with my chipping,I,m not a bad chipper just not a confident chipper,it seems that its the little short chips around the greens that I,m not confident with, give a hard chip be it a lob over trouble to a tight pin and I usually excell, for instance if I have a touchy chip from about 10 ft over a mound I seem to go into blindspot on swingthought,I tend to chip mainly with hitters chipping action not swingers chip any thoughts please...

Well this is interesting. Remember the smaller the stroke the more we have to make the engineering happen, or stay in place as there is no CF to drive things into impact. Look at your little y shape during your chipping and see how wobbly it might be. Keep it firm and short short stuff becomes more efficient.
