Harrington tied for lead at Grand Slam of Golf
Ireland’s Padraig Harrington is tied for the lead after the opening round of the four-man Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda.
The Dubliner birdied three of his last five holes yesterday evening to finish tied with Jim Furyk on two under par.
Retief Goosen finished up on level par, while Trevor Immelman struggled to a six-over-par 76.
The 36-hole Grand Slam brings together the winners of the season’s four Major events.
However, Goosen and Furyk have been drafted into the line-up this year as Harrington won both the British Open and PGA Championship and Tiger Woods, who won the US Open, is out of action after knee surgery.
