The Sand Trap Tour - Crooked Creek Golf Club in Fuquay, NC

Brian Denkins of Sanford posted a net score of 62 to take first in a Sand Trap Tour event at Crooked Creek in Fuquay, NC on May 17th. He was followed by Jason Ashworth, also of Sanford, with a net 63. Brandon Weymouth of Bear Creek, NC and John Roper of Raleigh both posted net rounds of 65 to tie for third.

The next Sand Trap Tour event, the Ammons Realty Open, will be held May 31th at Sanford Golf Course in Sanford, NC.

The Sand Trap Tour is a rapidly growing amateur tour aimed at positioning itself as the low-cost alternative to play competitive golf in Central North Carolina.
